We're having a Christmas party this weekend, which means it's that time of year where I try to pull off all kinds of unreasonable home decor/cooking/cleaning feats in the 24-48 hours before said party.
Along those lines, I made these curtains for our living room this morning. I fully intended to sew them but spied my "OK To Wash It" glue in a drawer and decided to try my first fully no-sew sewing project. Nice and super easy. They're not perfect, but I'm not really into perfection anyway. I got to use a little bit of my very favorite fabric--Anna Maria Horner's Square Dance--which I scored during the summer at a big Textile Fabrics sale. I made the rest of the curtains from rusty brown voile and white striped pima cotton that I had in my fabric box. I think they bring a bit of breezy summer to these cold gray days we've had lately. I can almost picture them blowing in the wind.
