A Night Out - What I Wore

Drapey Stripe Tank - J. Crew
Cashmere cardigan - Lord & Taylor, with embroidery added by me
Skirt - Anthropologie
Wool Blend Ribbed Tights - J. Crew
Shoes - Gianni Binni
Necklace - Vintage (my grandma's)
Purse - Pangea, Nashville

Last night we went out to dinner with friends and then to this new bar in East Nashville called 308. It was very upscale compared to most of the bars here, and it was nice for a change. (Although I am normally a dive bar girl.) I got this one amazing drink that had Earl Grey tea, gin, and pureed strawberry.

I had gotten this tank top and tights on sale at J. Crew earlier in the day and was loving the strawberry-lemonade electric pink stripes. Totally inspired my girly outfit. I even wore heels! Although I teetered and tottered around on them like a hobo. These were actually the heels that I wore to our wedding rehearsal almost five years ago.

The necklace is the most cherished part of this outfit, as it was my grandmother's and is so delicate and sweet.

Hope you guys have had a great weekend! Today it's nice enough out that I'm going on a hike with my mom, although Tessa is getting a little heavy to be lugged around comfortably, even in our Ergo carrier. She is over 20 lbs now!

I found your blog when I was searching through hundreds of nursery ideas on I love Tessa's room so much. I can't tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I'm expecting my first baby in July and you make me feel like I can do it and still have fun, still be me, still have time with my husband. I would love to hear/read about Tessa's birth if you haven't already shared it. All of the good, bad, scarey, joyful details! Thanks and keep it up!

@ Lil Muse LIly and Life with Rylie, Thanks! Enjoying both of your blogs too!

@ Kate in Madison, That is soooo sweet. There IS definitely life beyond baby! Congrats on your upcoming PYT! I haven't posted Tessa's birth story yet but I'm planning to do that next month in honor of her first birthday. :-)
