Stuff I Wore: Date Night.

Have you heard of Matilda Jane? That's where this little skirt is from, and I just love it. They mostly make childrens' clothes, but I've never actually bought anything for Tessa there because it's pricey and she's growing like a weed. I just cherrypick from the adult collection, which is so pretty and comfortable. It kind of reminds me of the stuff that Boden or Garnet Hill sells.

Good thing this skirt had an elastic waist, too, because Nekos and I chowed down at Holland House last night. I got seared catfish over a biscuit with cranberry relish and honey and this creamy hoppin' john with fresh peas. My Dad babysat for Tessa while we were out; it was his first time to do that and I so appreciate it. Nekos and I needed some time, just us two.

* Thanks so much to the adorable Teresa at Mas Tacos for letting us take pics in her yard and sample her gazpacho. :)

Jacket - Gap
Camisole - Esprit
Skirt - Matilda Jane
Socks - can't remember
Boots - Hunter

Ooooh, I LOVE the socks with the skirt - lovely together!
I contemplated getting some Hunters when I was just travelling in the UK, as I live in super muddy SE Asia (my street is actually a mud bath). But I wondered how comfy they are to wear, and how practical in the heat...?
